Erwin x Reader [Valentine's Day oneshot]

You took in a deep breath, calming yourself down. It still didn't work. You knocked on the door, biting your bottom lip, worried about what's going to happen. 

"Come in," here goes nothing. You opened the door, slowly walking towards his desk, and closing the door. 

"Y-You requested me, sir?" You stammered. The blonde looked at you, then continued looking at the paper. 

"Sit down, I have something to ask you." Erwin said without looking up at you. You looked at the expression on his face, a stern and serious look. You know it isn't going to be pretty. Your heart beat fast, even though you don't know why he requested you to come into his office, or maybe you do. You can't help to think that he may or may not be scolding you for what you did. The dining hall incident. You sat down. Ignoring eye-contact with him, as you looked up at the ceiling and the wall. Somehow, in every situation, the wall and the ceiling ease you down a bit. There was silence in the room. 

"Sir?" 

"What's the date today?" Okay, that was awkward...asking about the date and all. But, you suddenly remember. Today's 14 February. A laughter escaped from your lips after an image of Jean asking Mikasa out and Mikasa rejecting Jean. Erwin removed his gaze and looked at you. You saw the look on his face and stopped laughing. You cleared your throat. 

"S-sorry sir, it's just that the part where Jean asked Mikasa out and Mikasa rejected him was too funny." You explained, which was true, you saw the whole thing and stood there laughing for 5-10 minutes. 

"But, it's 14 February sir. If I can recall...It should be Valentine's day." You said. Erwin nodded as he rested his chin on his palm. He opened his drawer, taking out an envelope, and gives it to you. You blinked in confusion. As you took the envelope. You examined it from the back and the front.

"Uh, sir?"

"Open it." You raised a brow and obeyed his instruction. You opened the envelope, and you took out the letter. You read it.

Your eyes widened looking at the letter and back to him, his expression changed a little, a small smile appeared on his face. 'is the a trick?' You thought, but looking at Erwin's expression he isn't joking. 

"Will you kill me if I say yes?" 

"No. Truth is, I like you a lot, and this is an opportunity for me to tell you." You blushed crimson red. This is the first time anyone asked you to be his valentine. I mean yeah, it's so awkward that no words come out from your mouth. But, you nodded as a response. 

Suddenly, a pair of lips crashed onto yours. Your eyes widened, but slowly you closed your eyes and kissed back. Wrapping your arms around his neck, while he wrapped his around your waist. The kiss didn't last long. Erwin broke the kiss, staring at your [E/C] eyes.
